Identifying The Strain
- Cap: Medium to large, with a distinctive, wavy, or irregular shape; colours range from light brown to gold, sometimes with darker, reddish hues.
- Stipe (Stem): Thick and robust, usually white to light brown; exhibits a fibrous texture with possible discoloration or bruising.
- Size: 5 to 12 centimetres in height and 2cm to 3cm wide in diameter.
Potency & Effects
Quantitative testing shows this strain has a potency of around 0.3–0.5% psilocybin and psilocin. For comparison, the average Psilocybe cubensis contains 0.5% to 0.9% total tryptamines.
Despite its lower potency, the lizard king mushrooms strain remains a powerful hallucinogen. You may just need to consume slightly more than with other dried shrooms strains to achieve similar effects.
