Description
Physical Appearance
This strain produces a few large mushrooms, followed by clusters of smaller ones.
- Cap: Darker and changes shape from dome-like to bell-like. Smooth but can have cracks or a silky texture.
- Stem: Smooth and white to light brown. Thinner than other mushrooms and may have a bluish tint.
- Gills: Dark purple-brown as the mushroom ages.
Potency
Some sources suggest Blue Meanies have an average psilocybin content of around 0.75% to 1%, which is fairly common for Psilocybe cubensis strains. This amount can cause visual and auditory hallucinations, a strong body buzz, and feelings of euphoria.
- Average Psilocin: 0.05%
- Peak Tryptamine: 0.75% to 0.87%
Note: The range of amount of psilocybin, psilocin, and tryptamine can vary per mushroom, even in the same batch.
